Bella Racklin is a filmmaker and writer from London, U.K., based in Los Angeles. Her work has been supported by BAFTA, the NY Mayor's Office Women in Film, TV and Theatre Fund, and The Chimaera Project. Her debut feature, Floating Victoria – a non-fiction fairytelling of an artist’s madcap American dream, set aboard the last surviving Ellis Island Ferryboat – is due to be completed in 2025. Bella is the editor of the Substack Doc Voices, an extension of the Pure Nonfiction podcast hosted by Thom Powers, where she interviews filmmakers and organizations to provide a resourceful survey on the ever-changing documentary landscape.
