About James P Gannon

James is a self-taught filmmaker. He has directed 11 short films that have won awards at multiple film festivals including SXSW, Slamdance, Fantastic Fest, Palm Springs and Seattle. His latest short, Wrecked a Bunch of Cars, Had a Good Time had it’s world premiere at TIFF in 2024. His previous film, Deerwoods Deathtrap premiered at Sundance 2022 and went on to screen at over 30 festivals, winning a Special Jury Mention at the Aspen film festival and Oak Cliff. In April of 2023 it had a theatrical run in 7 cities across the USA. Online, his films collectively have over 500k views and have been selected as Vimeo Staff Picks and featured on sites like Roger Ebert, Wired, Upworthy, Short Of The Week and NoBudge. As a freelance director, James has created engaging work for The New York Times, Nordstrom, HGTV and GQ.

Gina

An avid animal lover and activist, Gina takes us through a day in her life on Skid Row, where she lives with her rescue Pit Bull and foster animals. She tells us about the transformative nature of her relationship with her dog, Muneca, and why she thinks Pit Bulls are the most misunderstood breed.

About Kathryn Prescott

Kathryn started her career as an actor in the British television show ‘Skins’. She has worked as an actor in the UK and USA for the past 14 years. Her first narrative short, Jane, centered on a young woman living in one of downtown Los Angeles’ many low-income residential hotels. The film starred Gayle Rankin (GLOW, Perry Mason) and screened at Palm Springs, Austin, Short Shorts and HollyShorts film festivals.

David Again

David Again tells the story of David Dennis, his road to recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, and his lifelong friendship with actor Jon Cryer. It is a story about redemption, the power of friendship, and the promise that it is never too late to ask for help.

A New York City-based filmmaker, actor and comedian, Adam’s short films and web series have screened all over the US and internationally. He served as a writer and appeared in the web series 'The Age of Insecurity' (Winner: Best Web Series, LA Comedy Festival) and 'Little Italy, Los Angeles' (Winner: Best Web Series, HollyShorts Film Festival). Other credits include 'Adam Adamson: Licensed Realtor' (Winner: Best Actor, NYC Short Comedy Film Festival) and 'A Best Man' (Winner: Best Actor in a Short Film, New York CineFest and MidWest WeirdFest). His short documentary and directorial debut, 'David Again' made its New York premiere at Tribeca Festival 2024 and international premiere at Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2024 (Special Jury Mention). Winner of Gotham Comedy Club's New Talent Competition 2022 and a finalist of Stand Up NY's Comedy Mob Festival 2023.
